New bomb threats reported in central Hungary on Saturday (01 February)

As per reports, two bomb threats were reported in central Hungary on the morning of Saturday (01 February).

• The first incident occurred at the Vértes Center in Tatabánya, where an unknown caller warned of a bomb planted in the shopping mall. In response, police deployed a large force to inspect the building. The Tatabánya city government informed the public in a statement that they would take all necessary steps to ensure safety. Further investigations are going on.
• Concurrently, a bomb alert was issued at the Balaton Plaza in Veszprém, prompting a police search of the premises. However, no explosives were found, and shoppers were permitted to return to the building later that morning.
