The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting (NCHMF) has warned of the risk of flash floods, landslides and land subsidence on slopes and near small streams in Dien Bien Province and Son La Province on Thursday (09 July).

• In Dien Bien Province, the warning covers Bung Lao, Chieng Sinh, Muong Ang, Muong Lan, Muong Mun, Muong Tung, Muong Lay Ward, Pu Nhung, Quai To and Tuan Giao.
• In Son La Province, the warning covers Bac Yen, Binh Thuan, Chieng Hac, Chieng Khuong, Chieng Sai, Muong Coi, Muong Gion, Phieng Pan, Phu Yen, Quynh Nhai, Suoi To, Ta Hoc, Ta Khoa, Ta Xua, Tan Yen, Xim Vang and Yen Son.
