According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting (NCHMF), on Wednesday (30 July), hot to extremely hot conditions are expected to persist in the Northern region and across areas from Thanh Hoa to Da Nang, including Ha Tinh, as well as in the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa. Temperatures are projected to range between 35 and 38 degrees Celsius, with some locations anticipated to exceed 38 degrees Celsius. Relative humidity is forecast to drop to between 55 and 60 percent.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting (NCHMF) expects the ongoing heatwave to persist through Thursday (31 July) across most central and southern provinces, with weather conditions in the Northern region projected to improve beginning Friday (01 August). However, the Central region is likely to experience prolonged hot conditions. A level one warning has been issued for natural disaster risk associated with the heatwave.
