As per reports, the National Building Research Organization (NBRO) has issued early landslide warnings for select areas in the Badulla and Monaragala districts due to continuing adverse weather conditions and increased slope instability risk.

• The warnings specifically cover the Passara Divisional Secretariat Division and its surrounding areas in the Badulla District, as well as the Badalkumbura Divisional Secretariat Division and Wellawaya Divisional Secretariat Division in the Monaragala District.
• According to NBRO, all mountainous terrain, man-made cut slopes, and road networks within the affected Divisional Secretariat divisions are currently considered vulnerable.
