As per reports, the railway union La Fraternidad, representing train drivers, confirmed a 24-hour general strike starting on Thursday (05 February), in response to a rejected wage proposal.
• The strike is expected to affect services operated by Trenes Argentinos Pasajeros, Belgrano Cargas (Belgrano, Urquiza, and San Martín freight lines), as well as Metrovías SA and Ferrovías SAC.
• Union leadership indicated that the action could be escalated further if negotiations fail, though the possibility of mandatory conciliation remains under review by authorities.
