As per reports, approximately 126,000 consumers in the Republic of Moldova experienced a temporary power outage on Monday (14 July).
• The disruption occurred between 1315 hours local time and 1319 hours local time, lasting for a duration of just four minutes.
• The cause of the outage was identified as a failure within the high-voltage networks operated by Întreprinderea cu Capital Străin Premier Energy Distribution (Foreign Capital Enterprise Premier Energy Distribution SA), which led to the automatic shutdown of nine 110 kV substations and three 35 kV substations.
• No further immediate disruptions are anticipated.
