As per reports, a national 24-hour rail strike has been scheduled across Italy from 2100 hours local time on Saturday (23 March) until 2100 hours local time on Sunday (24 March). The industrial action is likely to cause disruption to regional, Frecce and Intercity trains operated by Trenitalia, Italo and Trenord services.
The strike has been called by Italian trade unions CUB Trasporti, SGB and USB in protest against health and safety, working hours, wages and collective labor agreements.
