According to reports, Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki, located in East Flores Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), erupted on Friday (25 April), accompanied by a powerful explosion. This eruption created a volcanic ash column reaching 3,500 meters in height.

The eruption occurred at 0209 WITA. Currently, the activity level of the stratovolcano is at alert level III.
