As per reports, the Catholic Church has announced that the Diocese of Limón is scheduled to host the National Youth Day (DNJ) 2026 Mobilization at the Expo Pococí Events Center in Guápiles on 11 July.

• The event is anticipated to attract more than 10,000 young participants from across Costa Rica and neighboring Central American countries.
• While organized by the Catholic Church, the mobilization is designed as an inclusive and formative space for all Costa Rican youth under the theme “Tengan valor, yo he vencido al mundo -Take courage, I have overcome the world”.
• Musical performances are scheduled to include the Spanish Catholic group Hakuna Group Music, which is recognized for its significant following among youth ministries globally.
• The primary affected area is the Expo Pococí Events Center and the surrounding urban corridors in Guápiles, Limón province.
