As per reports, a large-scale Military and Civic-Sports Parade scheduled to take place on Thursday (20 November) beginning at 1000 hours local time (1600 hours UTC) to commemorate the 115th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution.
• The event is expected to involve more than five thousand participants, including 19 marching bands, 35 color guards, 430 vehicles, ten municipal departments, eight elementary schools, 11 high schools, five higher education institutions, 15 clubs, and two military groups.
• The route is expected to run along Avenida de los Insurgentes, beginning at Costa Rica Street and ending at Constitución Street.
• Additional participation will include personnel from the National Defense Secretariat, the National Guard, the Municipal Public Security Secretariat, the General Coordination of Road Safety, the Heroic Fire Department, and Municipal Rescue, as well as sports and cultural organizations.
• The General Coordination of Road Safety are expected to be deployed eighty traffic officers and twenty units along Insurgentes Avenue between Adolfo López Mateos Avenue and Constitución Street to maintain order, assist drivers and pedestrians, and manage the flow of vehicles.
• Alternate routes have been reportedly designated: 18 de Marzo Street for west-to-east travel and 20 de Noviembre Street for east-to-west travel.
