As per reports, the Milad-un-Nabi procession will be held in Hyderabad’s Old City on Sunday (14 September). The authorities have announced monument closures and imposed strict restrictions to ensure the peaceful conduct of the event.
The details are as follows:
• The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has ordered the closure of Charminar and other Old City monuments on Sunday (14 September), with online ticket sales for these monuments suspended.
• Hyderabad police have also imposed restrictions, banning DJs during the procession and warning that violations will attract legal action under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Hyderabad City Police Act, and Noise Pollution Act.
• Organisers have been instructed to prevent nuisance activities such as bike stunts, removal of silencers, and sound pollution.
• The procession is required to adhere to the prescribed route and move on one side of the road to maintain traffic flow.
• The Markazi Milad Juloos Committee assured strict compliance with police directives and full cooperation for the peaceful conduct of the procession.
