As per reports, the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued freeze warnings and frost advisories across multiple counties in northern and central Lower Michigan, with sub-freezing temperatures expected through the morning of Thursday (07 May).

• A freeze warning is in effect from 0100 hours local time (0500 hours UTC) until 0800 hours local time (1200 hours UTC) on Wednesday (06 May) for Emmet, Cheboygan, Presque Isle, Antrim, Otsego, Montmorency, Alpena, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Crawford, Oscoda, Alcona, Wexford, Missaukee, Roscommon, Ogemaw, Iosco, Charlevoix, and Beaver Island and surrounding islands. Sub-freezing temperatures in the upper 20s Fahrenheit are expected.
• A freeze warning is also in effect until 0800 hours local time (1200 hours UTC) on Wednesday (06 May) for Clare, Osceola, and Lake Counties. Temperatures as low as 29 degrees Fahrenheit are expected.
• A frost advisory is in effect until 0800 hours local time (1200 hours UTC) on Wednesday (06 May) for Isabella, Mecosta, Montcalm, Mason, Newaygo, and Oceana Counties. Temperatures as low as 32 degrees Fahrenheit are expected.
• A frost advisory is in effect until 0800 hours local time (1200 hours UTC) on Wednesday (06 May) for Arenac, Benzie, Gladwin, Leelanau, and Manistee Counties. Temperatures as low as 34 degrees Fahrenheit are expected, with frost formation likely.
