As per reports, Kolkata Metro has stated that there will be a traffic block on the Green Line from Howrah Maidan to Salt Lake Sector Five from Saturday to Monday (26-28 April).

• Work to implement the Communication Based Train Control System will be carried out across the entire Green Line. The subway from Sealdah Metro Station to Sealdah Station of Eastern Railway will also be closed for these three days.
• Due to this traffic block, there will be no special metro service on Green Line 2 after the IPL T20 match at Eden Gardens on Saturday night (26 April). However, there will be a special metro service on the Blue Line after the match.
