As per reports, Capital authorities are expecting one march, two rallies, one bike ride, and 15 recreational events to take place on Friday (18 March) in Mexico City.
Below are the times and locations of the planned events:
• At 0545 hours (local time), a cycling ride organized by Columbia Bikes will depart from El Cubil (located at the intersection of Uxmal and Municipio Libre, Santa Cruz Atoyac) and head to the Mercado Turístico Magdalena Contreras at Magdalena No. 528, La Magdalena Contreras.
• At 1300 hours (local time), the group “Hijas de la Cannabis” will hold a gathering at the Museo Memoria y Tolerancia (Avenida Juárez No. 8, Centro). They will demand the creation of safe and inclusive spaces for female cannabis users and advocate for gender-sensitive public policies.
• At 1600 hours (local time), a march titled “Second Via Crucis – March for the Victims of Palestine” will begin at the U.S. Embassy (Paseo de la Reforma No. 305, Cuauhtémoc) and proceed to the Zócalo. Organized by activists, the march aims to denounce violence and human rights violations in the ongoing armed conflict in Palestine.
• At 2030 hours (local time), the group Chulibiker will host a photo session and sticker distribution event at the Monument to the Revolution (Plaza de la República, Tabacalera) as part of the lead-up to “Acamoto 2025.”
• In addition to these, authorities have also scheduled 15 recreational events throughout the city.
