As per reports, the Manchester Day parade is scheduled to take place on Sunday (26 July). The parade is scheduled to commence at 1300 hours local time (1200 hours UTC) from St Peter’s Square and proceed along Peter Street, Deansgate, St Mary’s Gate, Cross Street, and Princess Street, before concluding at St Peter’s Square.
• Reports indicate that family-friendly events are scheduled from 1200 hours local time (1100 hours UTC) to 1700 hours local time (1600 hours UTC) across Manchester city centre. More than 500 performers and community groups are expected to participate in the celebrations.
• Reports indicate that temporary road and tram closures are expected across the city centre to facilitate the parade. Further traffic management measures are expected to be announced by local authorities.
