Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister commences five-day visit to New Zealand on Monday (14 July)

As per reports, Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who also serves as the Minister of Rural and Regional Development, arrived in Auckland, New Zealand, on Monday (14 July) to begin a five-day working visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and advancing strategic cooperation.

Key highlights of the visit include:

• Meetings with Governor-General Dame Cindy Kiro, Deputy Prime Minister David Seymour, Foreign Minister Winston Peters, and other senior New Zealand ministers.
• Visits to the National Crisis Management Centre and a roundtable session with the Maori community in Rotorua.
• Interaction with the Malaysian diaspora at a gathering with approximately 250 Malaysians residing in New Zealand.
