According to reports, authorities in Sabah have relocated the official Malaysia Day celebrations from Padang Merdeka to the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) in Kota Kinabalu on Wednesday (16 September).
Authorities stated that the event was relocated indoors due to worsening haze conditions and air quality concerns. However, the scheduled programme activities are expected to proceed as planned despite the venue change.
