As per reports, North Yorkshire Police responded to a major incident occurring outside the York LNER Community Stadium on Saturday (25 July), prompting security measures and temporary movement restrictions for venue attendees.

• Reports indicate that spectators attending a rugby match between York Knights and Huddersfield Giants were instructed via public address announcements during the second half and following the match to remain inside the stadium complex due to an ongoing police situation outside.
• As per reports, multiple North Yorkshire Police officers and up to four police vehicles were stationed around the leisure complex, including the vicinity of the Hollywood Bowl near the stadium exits, to manage security and clear the area.
• Reportedly, match spectators were granted permission to leave the stadium shortly after the conclusion of the sporting event at approximately 1700 hours local time (1600 hours UTC) on Saturday (25 July) as police stabilized the surrounding perimeter.
