As per reports, eastbound Main Street in downtown Dallas is fully closed between 03rd and 05th Streets from Monday (08 December) starting 0700 hours local time (1300 hours UTC) to Friday (12 December) through 1700 hours local time (2300 hours UTC), to facilitate the installation of new decorative concrete pavers as part of the city’s long-term downtown streetscape enhancement programme.

• The works include surface removal, grading, paver placement, alignment adjustments and curing time, requiring complete closure of the eastbound lanes for safety.
• The city has confirmed that westbound Main Street remains operational, although lanes have been shifted and temporarily narrowed to maintain median alignment and ensure worker safety.
