As per reports, the Maharashtra Pradesh Youth Congress organised a ‘Shetkari Nyaya Satyagraha’ (Farmers’ Justice Satyagraha) protest in Pune on Thursday (16 April). The protest was held against the India-US agreement and the Agricultural Trade Deal of the BJP-led central government.

The demonstration reportedly received participation from Youth Congress office bearers across Pune district, and the protestors warned of intensified agitation if their demands are not addressed by the authorities.
