As per reports, a magnitude 6.3 earthquake was recorded approximately 103 kilometers southwest of Adak, Alaska, during the afternoon hours on Sunday (08 December). The earthquake struck at a depth of 19 kilometers.
• Several aftershocks have been recorded since then near Adak of magnitude ranging between 4.2 to 6.1.
• The most recent being a magnitude 4.2 earthquake recorded approximately 117 kilometers southwest of Adak, Alaska, at about 1624 hours local time on Sunday (08 December).
