As per reports, the Servicio Sismológico Nacional (National Seismological Service) has reported a 4.1 magnitude earthquake, 33 kilometres northeast of Mapastepec, Chiapas on Tuesday (14 May) at about 0114 hours (local time).

The quake was recorded at a depth of 191 kilometres from the surface.
