As per reports, a 4.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded approximately 78 kilometres south of San Nicolás, Mexico, and approximately 193 kilometres east-southeast of Acapulco de Juárez, Mexico, on Sunday (14 June).
The earthquake was recorded at 0940 hours local time (1540 hours UTC) at a depth of 13 kilometres, classifying it as a shallow-focus event, and the epicentre was located at 15.718 degrees North, 98.533 degrees West.
