Lufthansa flights scheduled to operate between Oman and Germany on Wednesday (04 March)

As per reports, the German airline Lufthansa has the operational details regarding a planned evacuation flight from Muscat International Airport (MCT) in the Sultanate of Oman to Germany on Wednesday (04 March).

• This mission has reportedly been undertaken at the direction of and in coordination with the Federal Government of Germany to repatriate vulnerable German citizens amid escalating regional hostilities. The evacuation flight is expected to be operated using an Airbus A340-300 aircraft configured with 279 passenger seats.
• The flight is scheduled to depart Muscat during the night between Wednesday (04 March) and Thursday (05 March), and the primary passenger priority has been identified as children, medically vulnerable individuals, and pregnant persons requiring secure air transport to Germany.
• Lufthansa officials have indicated that additional evacuation flights are planned in the coming days, subject to evolving operational and security conditions.
