As per reports, the lack of running water in several areas in Langkawi is due to raw water sources running dry. The Kedah water company has also stated that Pekan Kuah, Kisap, Kilim, Perana, Bayas, Ulu Melaka, Temoyong, Pantai Cenang, Pantai Tengah and surrounding areas have been affected.
