As per reports, General Confederation of Labour (CGT) have announced a labour demonstration scheduled on 14 November in front of the Erasteel factory in Commentry (Allier), following the company’s announcement on Monday (03 November) of a restructuring plan involving 190 job redundancies at the site.

• The company currently employs approximately 240 workers at this facility.
• The union states that it rejects the job elimination plan and will mobilise supporters and affected workers to oppose the redundancies through public protest action.
