Kuwait Airways resumes flights to Casablanca from Sunday (03 May)

As per reports, Kuwait Airways has resumed flight operations to Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport starting Sunday (03 May) as part of the second phase of its gradual return to operations from Terminal 4 at Kuwait International Airport.

The resumption marks the restoration of connectivity between Kuwait and Morocco following earlier disruptions linked to the escalation of conflict in West Asia.

• The airline has reinstated services to 13 additional destinations in this phase, bringing the total number of resumed international routes to 29.
• The resumed network includes major cities such as London, Paris, Dubai, Madrid, Milan, Bangkok, Istanbul, Jeddah, Riyadh, Doha, Manama, Cairo, Beirut, Amman, Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Islamabad, Dhaka, Manila, Colombo, Bangalore, Guangzhou, Ahmedabad, and Sohag.
• The selection of destinations has been based on market demand and operational feasibility, according to Kuwait Airways’ acting Chief Executive Officer Abdulwahab Al Shatti.
• The airline has stated that the phased resumption strategy is intended to restore international connectivity while maintaining operational flexibility and adherence to safety standards.
