According to reports, the Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns affecting several areas of Srinagar and Ganderbal on Saturday (13 December), with additional outages planned for later in the month.

• The 33 KV Arampora–MES line will be shut down on Saturday (13 December), from 1000 hours (local time) to 1530 hours (local time), disrupting power supply to Zangli Garrison and adjoining areas.
• The 33 KV Alasteng–Nagbal line will also remain shut on Saturday (13 December), Tuesday (16 December) and Saturday (20 December) during the same hours, affecting Shuhama, Bakoora, Nagbal, Malshaibagh, Saloora, Gadoora, Fatehpora, Shairpathri and nearby localities.
• Similarly, the 33 KV Alasteng–Zakura line will be shut on Saturday (13 December) from 1000 hours (local time) to 1530 hours (local time), impacting Pandach, Pathan Colony, Gulabagh, Mir Mohalla, Umarhair, Nowbugh, Ahmad Nagar, 90 ft Road, Khalmullah and neighbouring areas.
• The 33 KV Cheshmashahi Shalimar Line will also be shut down on Saturday (13 December), from 1030 hours (local time) to 1400 hours (local time) due to chopping down of willow trees in close proximity.
