As per the Kazhydromet advisory issued on Wednesday (22 April), foggy conditions are expected overnight and during morning hours across Karaganda, Ulytau, Almaty, Abai, North Kazakhstan, East Kazakhstan, and parts of Mangystau regions, including cities such as Karaganda, Zhezkazgan, Konayev, and surrounding mountainous areas.

• Rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms is expected across Aktobe, Atyrau, Mangystau, and West Kazakhstan regions, with localized thunderstorm activity also forecast in urban centres including Aktobe, Atyrau, and Uralsk.
• Strong wind conditions with gusts ranging between 15 and 20 meters per second are expected across Aktobe, Almaty mountainous areas, Atyrau, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, North Kazakhstan, Mangystau, and West Kazakhstan regions.
• Dust storm conditions are expected across northern and central Kyzylorda region, as well as western and northeastern parts of Mangystau region, including Aktau during daytime hours.
• Frost conditions of approximately minus 2 degrees Celsius are expected overnight in northern and foothill areas of Almaty region, as well as northern and mountainous parts of Turkestan region.
• High fire danger conditions remain in northern and eastern Zhetisu region and western parts of Zhambyl and Turkestan regions, while extreme fire danger is expected in southern Zhetisu region.
