According to reports, a jet ski collided near Patong Beach on Tuesday (14 January) at 1345 hours (local time). After receiving the information, the emergency responders reached the location where one was declared dead and the other individual was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. They have been identified as Chinese tourists hailing from Henan province.

Police has initiated an investigation to know the cause of the incident.
