As per reports, a group of protesters vandalized and set fire to the Jatiya Party office at the Dakbangla intersection in Khulna on Saturday (02 November). The incident occurred around 1800 hours (local time) and caused panic in the area, leading to nearby shops closing down.
Police have stated that protestors threw bricks at the office, bringing out two plastic chairs from inside and setting them on fire. The identities of the attackers are still unknown, but efforts to identify them are underway.
