The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Japan and India have announced the official visit of Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi to India from Wednesday (01 July) to Friday (03 July).
Following are the latest updates available:
• According to the official programme, Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi will arrive in New Delhi on Wednesday (01 July) evening.
• On Thursday (02 July), the Japanese PM will be accorded a ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan. After the ceremony, she is scheduled to participate in the India–Japan Summit Meeting and other official engagements.
• On Friday (03 July), Prime Minister Takaichi will depart for Tokyo from Delhi.
• During the visit, Prime Minister Takaichi is scheduled to hold bilateral discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of the 16th India–Japan Annual Summit, with a focus on strengthening cooperation across key strategic, economic, and regional priorities.
