According to reports, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Emir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has announced province-wide demonstrations in Punjab on Sunday (07 December).

JI would hold demonstrations in all major cities and also challenge the newly enacted Punjab Local Government Act in court. Further details are awaited.
