As per reports, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has announced plans to stage black-flag marches in all district headquarters on Tuesday (30 January) to protest against the ruling government regarding the surge in commodity prices and to address the gas and electricity crisis.

Further, Jamaat-e-Islami’s acting Secretary General, Maulana ATM Masum called for cancellation of the recent elections held on 07 January, alleging them to be rigged.
