Israeli airstrikes reported in southern Lebanon on Saturday (11 October); one killed

As per reports, one person was killed and at least seven others injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting southern Lebanon on Saturday (11 October). The Lebanese Ministry of Health confirmed the casualties, stating that Israeli warplanes struck the al-Musaylih region during the morning hours.

The Israeli Air Force conducted ten airstrikes in the al-Musaylih area, six of which targeted sales points for construction equipment such as bulldozers and excavators. The attacks caused widespread structural damage and road closures.

• The road leading through Musaylih was fully closed following the strikes.
• Several industrial facilities were destroyed, and nearby civilian properties were damaged. Over 300 vehicles, including bulldozers and excavators, were rendered inoperative.
• High-voltage power infrastructure was impacted, with broken windows reported hundreds of meters from the blast sites.
• The Israeli military stated that the strike targeted infrastructure allegedly used by Hezbollah in violation of the existing ceasefire.
