As per reports, Mayo County Council has announced a series of road closures in Swinford, County Mayo, Ireland, to facilitate the Ireland West 3/4 Marathon on 05 September.

• The Kiltimagh Road, from the N5 junction to the L-1311 and L-1332 junction at Swinford Church, will be closed in five-minute intervals at each race start time, from 0955 hours local time (0855 hours UTC) to 1000 hours local time (0900 hours UTC), 1010 hours local time (0910 hours UTC) to 1015 hours local time (0915 hours UTC), and 1025 hours local time (0925 hours UTC) to 1030 hours local time (0930 hours UTC).
• The road will then remain closed until 1430 hours local time (1330 hours UTC). Diversions will be available via the Kilkelly Road and the N5. A stop-go system will be in place for traffic accessing Tesco, Aurivo and the Swinford Amenity Park.
• Park Road will be closed from 1000 hours local time (0900 hours UTC) to 1430 hours local time (1330 hours UTC). Local access will be available via the Kiltimagh Road.
• The Old Castlebar Road, from Swinford Church to the Old Dump Road, will be closed from 1000 hours local time (0900 hours UTC) to 1430 hours local time (1330 hours UTC).
• A one-way local access system will be in operation from Swinford Church towards Meelick between 1200 hours local time (1100 hours UTC) and 1430 hours local time (1330 hours UTC).
• The Meelick Road, from the Old Castlebar Road to Meelick Church, will be closed from 1000 hours local time (0900 hours UTC) to 1430 hours local time (1330 hours UTC). A one-way system towards Meelick will be in place from 1100 hours local time (1000 hours UTC) to 1430 hours local time (1330 hours UTC).
• Meelick Village, the Ardhoom Road (from Ardhoom to Laghtmadurkan) and the Laghtmadurkan Road (from Laghtmadurkan to Gweestion Bridge) will be closed from 1020 hours local time (0920 hours UTC), with local diversions in place.
• The Old Dump Road and the Carrowgalda to Ballylahan Road (from Gweestion Bridge to Gurteen) will have local diversions in place from 1030 hours local time (0930 hours UTC).
• The Gurteen to Ardacarha Road will be closed from 1040 hours local time (0940 hours UTC).
• The Carrowgalda Road (from Ardacahra to Gweestion Bridge) and the Newcastle Road (from Gweestion Bridge to Newcastle Gates) will be closed from 1050 hours local time (0950 hours UTC).
• The Newcastle to Meelick Road and the Clooninshin to Laghtmadurkan Road will be closed from 1100 hours local time (1000 hours UTC).
