As per reports, a team from the Indore Municipal Corporation was attacked by members of Bajrang Dal on Wednesday (25 December) following a scuffle related to the transporting of some stray cattle. The team was undertaking an anti-encroachment operation when the members of Bajrang Dal arrived and started protesting, alleging the officials of animal cruelty.

The scuffle between them resulted in a fight when a large number of cattle keepers reached the spot with sticks and started vandalising the vehicles. The incident resulted in injuries to three employees of the Indore Municipal Corporation who have demanded action against Bajrang Dal members and warned to go on strike if no action was taken.
