As per reports, the following are the planned protests in parts of Indonesia on Wednesday (19 November):
• At 09.00 WIB, around 170 members of Gerakan Milenial Terdepan Indonesia Kuat are expected to protest in front of the Constitutional Court (MK RI), Central Jakarta, demanding that hearings be conducted free from public pressure, political intervention, and mass intimidation. Traffic disruptions are likely along Jl. Medan Merdeka Barat and the Harmoni – Monas Ring Road. Commuters are advised to use Jl. Abdul Muis – Jl. Fachrudin or Jl. Juanda – Jl. Veteran as alternative routes.
• At 13.00 WIB, around 100 members of PERMANAS Jabodetabek are expected to protest in front of the Constitutional Court, calling on the institution to uphold independence, professionalism, and integrity. Traffic disruptions are likely along Jl. Medan Merdeka Barat. Commuters are advised to use Jl. Majapahit – Jl. Veteran as an alternative route.
• At 09.00 WIB, around 30 members of Gerakan Rakyat Menggugat Jambi are expected to protest at KPK RI (Jl. Kuningan Persada), demanding a full investigation into alleged corruption and tax fraud involving the Jambi provincial coal holding company. Traffic disruptions are likely along Jl. Kuningan Persada and HR Rasuna Said – Gatot Subroto access roads. Commuters are advised to use the Mega Kuningan Loop or Jl. HR Rasuna Said – Jl. Setiabudi Selatan.
• At 10.00 WIB, around 50 activists from Solidarity for the People of Myanmar (including BWI Global Union, Kontras, YLBHI, Amnesty International, and others) are expected to protest in front of Hotel Le Méridien, urging Komnas HAM to publicly support victims of military repression in Myanmar. Traffic disruptions are likely along Jl. Jend. Sudirman (Benhil – Semanggi). Commuters are advised to use SCBD – Senopati – Pattimura or Jl. KH Mas Mansyur.
• At 10.00 WIB, around 50 members of Alian Safri & Partners are expected to protest in front of DPRD DKI Jakarta, demanding land compensation payments for the Pramuka Flyover widening project. Traffic disruptions are likely along Jl. Kebon Sirih and the Jl. MH Thamrin – Jl. Menteng Raya corridor. Commuters are advised to use Jl. Wahid Hasyim or Jl. Agus Salim (Sabang).
• At 11.00 WIB, around 50 members of DPP Generasi Milenial Indonesia are expected to assemble at Baharkam Polri Headquarters (Jl. Trunojoyo), expressing support for Komjen Pol. Syahardiantono is the next Chief of Police. Traffic disruptions are likely along Jl. Trunojoyo and the Blok M – Melawai corridor. Commuters are advised to use Jl. Prapanca – Barito or Jl. Wolter Monginsidi.
• At 13.00 WIB, around 30 members of Syndicate Activist Pro-Democracy are expected to protest at Baharkam Polri Headquarters and the South Monas Crossing, supporting Constitutional Court Decision No. 114/PUU-XXIII/2025 banning active police officers from holding civil posts. Traffic disruptions are likely along Jl. Trunojoyo (Blok M – Polri HQ segment) and the Silang Selatan Monas area. Commuters are advised to use Senopati – SCBD – Pattimura or Jl. Veteran – Jl. Majapahit.
• At 13.00 WIB, around 30 members of Lembaga Kajian dan Peduli Hukum Indonesia are expected to protest at KPK RI and Golkar Party Headquarters, demanding an investigation into the Governor of Papua over alleged bribery, gratification, and money laundering. Traffic disruptions are likely on Jl. Kuningan Persada (KPK area) and Jl. Anggrek Neli Murni – Slipi (Golkar HQ). Commuters are advised to use the Mega Kuningan Loop (South Jakarta) or Jl. S. Parman – Palmerah (West Jakarta).
• At 13.00 WIB, around 30 members of Jaringan Intelektual Hukum Indonesia are expected to protest at PT PLN Headquarters (Jl. Trunojoyo) and later at KPK RI, demanding a full investigation into alleged corruption within PT PLN. Traffic disruptions are likely along Jl. Trunojoyo and Jl. Kuningan Persada. Commuters are advised to use SCBD – Pattimura or Rasuna Said – Mega Kuningan.
• At 13.00 WIB, around 30 members of AMALAN RAKYAT are expected to protest at the ATR/BPN Office (Jl. Kembangan Raya), demanding the removal of the West Jakarta BPN Head, reportedly under KPK investigation related to National Strategic Project land certificates. Traffic disruptions are likely along Jl. Kembangan Raya and the Meruya – Kembangan corridor. Commuters are advised to use Jl. Joglo Raya or Jl. H. Kelik – Jl. Srengseng Raya.
• Between 10.00 and 12.00 WIB, around 50 members of LBH Patriot are expected to protest at Depok Metro Police Headquarters (Jl. Margonda Raya), demanding open case reviews whenever an investigation termination is contested. Traffic disruptions are likely along Jl. Margonda Raya (Pancoran Mas – Depok City Centre). Commuters are advised to use Jl. Arif Rahman Hakim or Jl. Nusantara Raya.
