As per reports, the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police Services has issued a caution against potential disruptions in the Jakarta and West Java area, due to the following planned protests/rallies, as of Tuesday (09 September):

• 1000 WIB: in front of the DPR/MPR RI Building, Jl. Gatot Subroto, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. Around 300 people from the University of Indonesia Student Executive Body (BEM UI) will stage a demonstration with the demand:“#Rakyattagihjanji” (“The People Demand Promises”).
• 1000 WIB: in front of the DPR/MPR RI Building, Jl. Gatot Subroto, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. Around 100 people from the Student Executive Body of Universitas Indraprasta PGRI (BEM UNINDRA) will stage a demonstration demanding: “The President must immediately carry out major reforms in the education sector, including revising the National Education System Law (UU Sisdiknas).”
• 1500 WIB: at Silang Selatan Monas, Gambir, Central Jakarta. Around 100 people from the Student Executive Body of Universitas Indraprasta PGRI (BEM UNINDRA) will stage a demonstration demanding: “The President must immediately carry out major reforms in the education sector, including revising the National Education System Law (UU Sisdiknas).”
• 1000 WIB: at the National Police Security Maintenance Agency (Baharkam Polri), Jl. Trunojoyo, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. Around 100 people from the Tangerang Raya Branch of the Indonesian National Student Movement (GMNI) will stage a demonstration demanding: “Transparent bureaucratic reform within the Indonesian National Police.”
• 1400 WIB: in front of the DPR/MPR RI Building, Jl. Gatot Subroto, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta. Around 50 people from the People’s Justice Voice Movement (Gerakan Suara Keadilan Netizen) will stage a demonstration demanding: “Return the rights of MSME actors allegedly implicated in legal issues involving lawyer Elza Syarif.”
• 1300 WIB: in front of Elza Syarif Law Office, Jl. Latuharhary No.19, Menteng, Central Jakarta. Around 50 people from the People’s Justice Voice Movement (Gerakan Suara Keadilan Netizen) will stage a demonstration demanding: “Return the rights of MSME actors allegedly implicated in legal issues involving lawyer Elza Syarif.”
