Indonesia Protest Tracker – Friday (14 November)

As per reports, there are no potential high-risk demonstrations expected in Jakarta on Friday (14 November). However, there are medium-risk protests expected due to the number of participants.

The following are the details:

• At 10.00 WIB, around 170 participants from Gerakan Bangun Indonesia Maju are expected to demonstrate at PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (Gedung Vasaka, Jl. MT Haryono, East Jakarta), calling on the company’s leadership to issue a public clarification regarding Bank DKI’s lawsuit and the legal actions taken by the firm. Significant congestion is anticipated along Jl. MT Haryono (Cawang–Cikunir corridor) and surrounding access points in Jatinegara and Cipinang Cempedak. Commuters are advised to use Jl. DI Panjaitan – Jl. Ahmad Yani or the Jakarta Inner Ring Road (Tol Dalam Kota) as an alternative route.
• At 13.00 WIB, around 100 participants from Aliansi Mahasiswa dan Pemuda Untuk Keadilan Rakyat (AMALAN RAKYAT) are expected to protest at PT Asia Palm Oleo Jaya (KBN Marunda, North Jakarta), demanding that the Ministry of ATR/BPN temporarily dismiss the Head of the West Jakarta Land Agency over alleged misconduct. Congestion is likely along Jl. Kembangan Raya (West Jakarta BPN Office area) and surrounding access points in Kembangan Utara. Commuters are advised to use Jl. Meruya Ilir – Jl. Meruya Selatan or Jl. Panjang – Jl. Arjuna Utara as an alternative route.
• At 13.00 WIB, around 200 participants from Komite Mahasiswa Hukum Indonesia (KOMAHI) are expected to demonstrate at PT PP (Persero) Tbk (Jl. TB Simatupang, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta), demanding the temporary suspension of the President Director and related board members to ensure independence in an ongoing investigation involving alleged document manipulation and irregular project reporting. Significant congestion is anticipated along Jl. TB Simatupang (Pasar Rebo–Cililitan segment) and access points to the Gedong / Pasar Rebo administrative complex. Commuters are advised to use Jl. Raya Bogor – Jl. Mayor Oking or the Jagorawi Toll Road via the Pasar Rebo or Cililitan exits as an alternative route.
• At 13.00 WIB, around 100 participants from AMALAN RAKYAT are expected to protest at the ATR/BPN West Jakarta Office (Jl. Kembangan Raya, West Jakarta), urging the suspension of the Head of the West Jakarta Land Agency over alleged irregularities in land certification linked to a national strategic project. Traffic disruptions are likely along Jl. Kembangan Raya and across the surrounding Kembangan Utara administrative zone. Commuters are advised to use Jl. Puri Kembangan – Jl. Kembangan Selatan or Jl. Joglo Raya – Jl. Kedoya Raya as an alternative route.
