The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued rainfall alerts in some key Indian metro cities. The warnings are as follows:

• For Tuesday (03 June): Yellow Alerts for heavy rainfall have been issued for Kannur and Kasargod. Orange alert for thunderstorm, Lightning and squall is active for Gurugram. In addition, yellow Alerts have been issued for Delhi, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad warning of thunderstorms, lightning, and squalls. No active alerts have been issued for Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Bengaluru Urban, and Bengaluru Rural by the IMD.
• For Wednesday (04 June): Yellow Alerts for heavy rainfall have been issued for Kannur, Kasargod, Kozhikode and Wayanad. Yellow Alerts are also in place for Delhi and Gurugram, indicating the possibility of thunderstorms, lightning, and squalls. No active weather alerts have been issued for Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, or Bengaluru.
