The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued weather alerts in the following metro cities, as of Sunday (26 October):

• Mumbai and Pune – A yellow alert for thunderstorm, lightning, squall, and strong surface wind has been issued in the forecast in Mumbai City, Mumbai Suburban, and Thane districts. A yellow alert for heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and squalls is in place in Pune. No active nowcast warnings in any of these cities.
• Delhi, Noida, Gurugram – No warning has been issued in the forecast and nowcast.
• Bengaluru – No warning has been issued in the forecast and nowcast.
• Hyderabad – A yellow alert for thunderstorm, lightning, squall, and strong surface wind has been issued in the forecast. No warning has been issued in the nowcast.
• Chennai – A yellow alert for heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and squall has been issued in the forecast. No warning has been issued in the nowcast.
• Kolkata – No warning has been issued in the forecast and nowcast.
• Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar – Yellow warning for thunderstorms, lightning, and squall has been issued for Ahmedabad in the forecast, while a yellow warning for light rainfall is also active in the nowcast till 1000 hours (IST). No warning has been issued in the forecast and nowcast for Gandhinagar.
