As per reports, heightened security measures are being implemented on Thursday (02 January) at the Sugar Bowl College Football Playoff game between Georgia and Notre Dame at the Caesars Superdome in response to the Wednesday (01 January) attack in New Orleans.
• Authorities are deploying additional security assets, including bomb-sniffing dogs and increased law enforcement presence, both at the Superdome and in surrounding areas.
• Local, state, and federal agencies are coordinating the vigilance measures. Security personnel have cautioned that safety measures will remain heightened throughout the event, including restrictions on regular traffic flow near the Superdome.
