As per reports, the National Weather Service has issued an inclement weather forecast in parts of the US through Wednesday (17 April).

• Scattered rainfall and thunderstorms are expected to develop across the Great Plains, particularly extending southward across the Central and Southern Plains. Additionally, isolated storms may form from the Ohio Valley into the Mid-Atlantic later on Monday (15 April) afternoon and early evening.
• The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has designated an enhanced risk (level three out of five) of severe thunderstorms for areas in the Central Great Plains and Central and Eastern Virginia on Monday (15 April) night.
• Scattered severe storms are anticipated, with the potential for several tornadoes, large to very large hail, and damaging wind gusts across the Plains. Strong to violent tornadoes are possible in areas of Kansas and Nebraska. Additionally, severe wind gusts are likely early on Monday (15 April) evening in portions of Virginia.
• Excessive rainfall is anticipated in portions of southeastern South Dakota, northeastern Nebraska, and northwestern Iowa.
• Scattered rainfall and thunderstorms are expected to move into the Upper and Middle Mississippi Valley on Tuesday (16 April) morning, followed by the Lower Mississippi Valley in the afternoon.
• Snowfall ranging from approximately six to 12 inches are expected over the mountainous regions of northwestern Wyoming into southern Montana, with higher amounts of eight to 18 inches possible in the Bighorn Mountains. Additionally, rainfall and thunderstorms are likely to advance into the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast on Wednesday (17 April), accompanied by a Slight Risk of Severe Storms in parts of the Lower Ohio Valley into the Mid-South.
