Inclement weather forecast in Thailand on Wednesday (16 July)

The Thai Meteorological Department has issued a forecast for heavy rainfall and thundershowers in parts of Thailand on Wednesday (16 July).

Following is the region wise weather forecast:

• Northern: Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rain in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Lamphun, Lampang, Phrae, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, and Phetchabun.
• Northeastern: Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rain in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, and Ubon Ratchathani.
• Central: Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, and Samut Sakhon.
• Eastern: Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Chanthaburi, and Trat.
• Southern (East Coast): Scattered thundershowers mostly in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Yala, and Narathiwat.
• Southern (West Coast): Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, and Krabi.
• Bangkok Metropolitan: Scattered thunderstorms with occasional heavy rain in some areas. Temperatures will range from 26 degrees Celsius to 27 degrees Celsius at the lowest, and 33 degrees Celsius to 36 degrees Celsius at the highest. Winds are expected from the southwest at speeds between 10 and 20 kilometers per hour.
