The Thai Meteorological Department has issued warnings for thundershowers and isolated rainfall in parts of Thailand on Thursday (21 August). The following are the additional details:

• Northern: Scattered thundershowers are likely mostly in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok, and Phetchabun. While a minimum temperature of 22-25 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 32-35 degrees Celsius, including southwesterly winds of 10-15 km/h are expected.
• Northeastern: Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall are likely in Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket, and Ubon Ratchathani. While a minimum temperature of 23-25 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 31-34 degrees Celsius, including southwesterly winds of 10-20 km/h are expected.
• Central: Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall are likely in Uthai Thani, Suphan Buri, Kanchanaburi, and Ratchaburi. While a minimum temperature of 23-25 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 33-36 degrees Celsius, and a southwesterly wind of 10-20 km/h are expected.
• Eastern: Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall are likely in Sa Kaeo, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat. While a minimum temperature of 23-25 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 30-34 degrees Celsius, including a southwesterly winds of 15-30 km/h, and wave height of about one meter and above two meters in thundershowers are expected.
• Southern (East Coast): Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall are likely in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat. While a minimum temperature of 22-25 degrees Celsius, a maximum temperature of 32-34 degrees Celsius, including southwesterly winds of 15-30 km/h, and a wave height of about one meter and above two meters in thundershowers are expected.
• Southern (West Coast): Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall are likely in Ranong, Phang Nga, and Phuket. While a minimum temperature of 23-25 degrees Celsius, a maximum temperature of 30-32 degrees Celsius is expected. In Phang Nga, upward, southwesterly winds of 15-35 km/h, and a wave height of one to two meters and above two meters in thundershowers are likely. Meanwhile, in Phuket, downward, southwesterly winds of 15-30 km/h, and a wave height of about one meter and above two meters in thundershowers are expected.
• Bangkok Metropolitan: Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall are likely mostly in the afternoon to evening hours. While a minimum temperature of 25-27 degrees Celsius, and a maximum temperature of 33-35 degrees Celsius, with southwesterly winds of 10-20 km/h are expected.
