The National Hydrometeorological Service of Kazakhstan, Kazhydromet, issued a forecast for inclement weather on Monday (16 September).

• Rainfall with thunderstorms is expected in the north, northwest, east, and center of the country due to frontal sections, accompanied by strong winds and a dust storm in the south.
• Fog is forecast for the north, east, center, and mountainous areas of the southeast during the night and morning. Frosts of one to two degrees are expected in parts of Abai, East Kazakhstan, North Kazakhstan, Akmola, and mountainous areas of Zhetisu.
• High fire danger will persist in Aktobe, Ulytau, Zhetisu, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, Karaganda, Kostanay, and East Kazakhstan regions. Extreme fire danger will remain in Kyzylorda, Turkestan, Zhambyl, Atyrau, Mangystau, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Ulytau, Abai, Aktobe, and Almaty regions.
