As per reports, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) has forecast a period of inclement weather across Bulgaria starting Friday (27 March).

• Cloud cover is forecast to increase on Friday (27 March) with rainfall and snowfall beginning in northern and mountainous regions.
• In Sofia, on Friday (27 March) is expected to see a 65 percent chance of rainfall during the day and a 40 percent chance of snowfall at night.
• Meteorological parameters for the weekend include high temperatures between seven degrees Celsius and nine degrees Celsius, with nightly lows falling to three degrees Celsius.
• Wind speeds are anticipated to remain moderate, reaching up to 10 miles per hour from the southeast and northwest directions.
• On Saturday (28 March), rainfall and snowfall are forecast to continue across Western Bulgaria, with a 55 percent chance of precipitation.
• The affected areas include Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, and Burgas.
