As per reports, the National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather alert indicating scattered rainfall across parts of the coastal areas and the Green Mountain region in northeastern Libya, including Tripoli, Misrata, Sirte, Bayda, Shahat, and Derna, from Saturday (28 February) to Sunday (01 March).

• Temperatures are expected to gradually decline, particularly in northeastern regions, accompanied by increasing cloud cover.
• Scattered rainfall is forecast from Saturday (28 February) to Sunday (01 March), affecting some coastal areas as well as the Green Mountain region.
• Reports indicate that although rainfall is expected to be intermittent rather than continuous, localized downpours may occur.
