As per reports, the General Directorate of Civil Defense has issued a public advisory urging extreme caution due to the heavy rainfall forecast across most regions of Saudi Arabia until Friday (28 March).
• Residents are advised to remain vigilant and adhere to official safety instructions disseminated through various media channels.
• According to the directorate, Makkah, Al-Baha, Asir, and Jazan regions are expected to receive moderate to heavy rainfall, while the Najran region will experience moderate rains. Light rainfall is forecast for the Madinah region.
• Certain areas in the Makkah region, including Taif, Maysan, Adham, and Al-Ardiyat, may experience flash floods, hail, and dust storms due to moderate to heavy rainfall. Makkah City, Al-Jumum, Al-Kamil, and Bahra are expected to witness light to moderate rainfall.
• Surface winds causing dust storms are anticipated in parts of the Qassim and Madinah regions, as well as along the coastal areas of Tabuk.
